Vendors

Keeping track of who services what can be a big headache. Who do you call when the heating system doesn't heat? Who fixes the laser printers? Do we have a service contract on the file server? Someone threw a brick through the window, which glass company do you call?

The Vendor Information Window
Keeping track of who does what is easy. You can store all the information you need for each vendor. Contact info, contract numbers, customer numbers, and more.

Attach Vendors to Systems
Vendors can be attached to any System. The Vendors section of the Systems update window allows you to attach vendors to the system. (See Below) Any number of vendors can be attached to a system.

This section of the System update window shows the basic contac information. Pressing the detail button will bring up the Vendor Information window. (See Above)

When attaching a vendor to a system, the Attach Vendor window not only allows you select a Vendor but also identify the Prime vendor and any contract information for this system. This allows you to identify a unique contract number for each system. ( This is identified by the red C in the Vendor Section while the Prime vendor is shown with a light blue background.)

Track Dependencies
Do you know what all will be affected when something in your organization fails? .

Who do I call?
John is on vacation. The email server went down. John takes care of the email server. Who does John call when there is a problem?

Didn't I see you before?
It happened again. What did I do last time to fix it? Who did I call?
